Please do not attack Oasis or its employees! Let's keep it civil, no passive aggressive posts towards Daiske, I'd like to keep this thread open so anyone and everyone can voice their concerns without issues.

Whatever dude, we know you're full of it. Also, it doesn't matter how available it is, because the problem is 100% position 1 stacking, and you made it worse. Good job. Curious how this update is game changing? After tomorrow are people gonna say "lvl 13 refines are out lets change the meta teams!" Only thing this update does is spit in the face of everyone who worked hard to get lvl 12 refines (refine glow). Just don't understand how ignoring your player base is a smart business strategy unless you are deliberately trying to make people quit the game. Should I expect the same "breath of fresh air" like with the runestone update? (Majority also said no to that)

Will the amount of runes we can get daily also counted? Number of advanded runes we can get from Group shop alone has already lower than it once was. 1-2 adv runes/day means we'll still be years away from lv10 runes, so we can even use epic runes at all.

I hope this amount of displeasure about this at least makes Oasis more generous in amount of runes they end up giving in different events/shops/mechanics daily, if nothing else. It would still be better th*most nothing we usually get. Needing only 1 year to use epic runes woudn't be gamebreaking, needing many years to even use them might be.

Please, for once do a right decision and think about balance. Epic runes being PTW only would brake what balance between whales and all of the other players (FTP, low/mid/heavy-but-not-whale spenders) have. I don't want this game to end up a ghost town with whales only, where all others are sweeped away if they dare to show themselfs till they quit because constant losing without any chance isn't fun.

Edit: In news Space-time shop was told to be a way to trade low/mid runes to avd/epic runes. That is one example I could think of. Currently we can get only 1 avd rune/day, no matter of space-time points we have. Having more ways to get runes we need might not be enough, you should think of the numbers as well.

I get that and understand that, I already knew that we were going to get the level 13 runes whether we wanted it or not. And although it is "nice" of the moderators to show the players voice once more, it was misleading and completely useless. If the Moderators knew, like Daiske stated in his post", then they should have told us up front. Like, hey we are going to get the level 13 runes, its a done deal but we would like to hear once more how our player base feels about it. Playing it out like this is making future polls and/or surveys completely obsolete. Because once again, this shows that our voice won't be heard.

Ok, so a couple of questions I would like to be answered. JUST LOOKING FOR ANSWERS, NOT TO "INCITE DRAMA":

- "No one is blaming moderators, they were aware that this survey is not official." - question is, why weren't we aware? Why there was no disclaimer informing us, that the survey is not official? If something is posted in the NEWS section, posted by a MODERATOR without any info that this is NOT OFFICIAL, then by all means IT IS OFFICIAL. You can't just back out of it because you don't like the results.

- "We also deeply care about your opinion and we take your feedback into consideration." - how exactly? How? You see our opinions in each and every topic that gets deleted, every post that gets removed. Additionally - you say you care about our opinion and then lock the Events topic so that noone can state their opinion? How can you care about something that CANNOT BE VOICED OUT?

- "due the feedback we've made decision to include ultimate runes in more events and also include more ways how players can obtain them so this update won't have such impact on the game" - first of all, not a single feedback voice from the players side said they accept the update, but with more access to runes, so what actual feedback are you refering to? Do you have any posts? Conversations? Screenshots? Anything? Second of all what exact 'ways of obtaining' do you have in mind? Because if you mean putting them in recharge/spending rebates, pushing them for coupons in every event cycle or letting us redeem 1-10 runes per week for 'free' then NO, this won't help us at all, nor it in any way could be considered as 'accessible' or non-impactfull - pushing them for coupons.ingots will just further raise the gap between whales and f2p/low-spenders, as the latter won't have any profit from the mentioned 'ways to obtain' - could you please specify what do you exactly have in mind by speaking of this 'accessibility'?

Additionally I would like to add two things:

- This update WILL BE IMPACTFUL on the game unless adv refines will take place of med refines in ALL possible redeem ways and ultimate refines will take place of adv (and yes, I mean group shop, grocery store, space-time store and such)

- Since the survey was, as you state, not-official and made by your moderators and you do not associate yourself with the ones responsible for the survey, then tell me why did you took part in it?:

PS. How can you ask the players to 'give this update a chance' if for the last 2-3 years all we do is giving OG staff a chance and yet they fail us once again?

Your actions and what you say are different, if players opinion really matters as you said and you really take it into consideration why it happens that we're getting opposite of what we wanted?

Maybe it is hard for some of us to understand so can you explain how this new features are game changing or how will they bring fresh air to the game?

Have been playing for 2,5y+, got my 1st pos done with runes/refines/charms, ready to focus other positions to make game more interesting without braindead stack of 1st pos but now i have to go back to 1st position again.

Keys at some point were ok, since we spend same materials and don't have to choose, but with new refines for the same materials to exchange it really makes game complicated. should i focus full team or just stack 1st pos and tomorrow get new feature that will make my decision useless? and you clearly let us see how much our opinions matter to you. Features we got here were removed from CN version since they were bringing disbalance to the game where players had much more time to progress, and now you give those features to the version where nobody has a fully boosted positions?

Also old story about plants, as you said you never had them in the game and won't treat players like that, but where does it lead when you give your workers(mods. gls etc) in-game currency? you wanted it or not those are plants with extra benefits than normal spenders or f2p.

It doesn't matter was that survey planned or not, you're saying how much you care about players opinions but at last do nothing to make game better for them. There have been tons of features that we must have by now or suggestions but... once again even if you "care" about us it doesn't feels like it.

Also all of this just seems waste of time since you don't really care about your player base.

The survey was not done to know the majority opinion. They already knew it before when they did the 1st one. This survey was just to see roughly who said yes so they could at least assure some profit from the minority.

I spend money on this game. I'm by no means a whale, but I spend. What these refine and rune increases do is basically make me want to stop spending - because it makes "catching up" even more of a pipe dream. The top three accounts on my server is one *big* whale spender. That top player is over 500k, the highest ranked player not played by this one person is 390k. They've got double my power and I'm ranked in the mid-20s on the server - that means there's a lot of people ranked lower than me. The top player has Level 13 Runes - no one else on the server has one. The other "whales" are running a few Level 12s. The vast majority of the player base is still trying for a few 10s at most

Refines are going to be the same way. That top player will have Level 13s, they'll be more untouchable, and the whole rest of the server will straggle along. I'll be better than the FTP, not as good as the whales, and it won't have anything to do with skill or effort, they'll just buy their way to the top.

The whole point of Naruto is the underdog working hard to get to the top. I log in and spend thinking; hey, someday I could catch up with the top person in the server. What this does is make even that unrealistic goal less of a possibility. It's depressing.

You don't care about our opinion at all. You never have. You never will. The only thing you care about is milking your whales for all they've got. If you cared about our opinions then the game would be changing in ways that reflect those opinions. Not turning ever more into a game where it's the whales and everybody else, with that gap widening all the time. Please don't shine us on saying things like "we take your feedback into consideration", when you clearly don't. The fact that you planned another awful, player base splitting, cash grab of an update without giving the players a chance to have their say just reinforces that fact. Why would you even bother to let the mods make that poll knowing that the outcome would be the same?

For that matter, why are you so out of touch with your players and the state of the game that you wouldn't already know there would be a huge pushback to this? Deleting/ locking threads and posts isn't going to silence everyone that's (rightly) outraged about this and your general mishandling of the game. It's only going to make them louder. And adding ways to get ultimate runes easier isn't going to benefit the vast majority of the players because they can't use them and it will be months or years before they can. You're like a bunch of kids trying to hold onto sand by squeezing harder not realizing that you're losing more the harder you squeeze.

Renj, I just wanna give you a pat on the back for being proactive about feeling the need to speak out and voice your concerns.

This is a step of improvement from the past, when someone of importance would need to "martyr" themselves literally every time to enact any player response that felt like it could potentially evolve into a PR outrage.

I'm not the most knowledgable about this topic as I'm just an uber-casual, so I've little to contribute to this discussion unfortunately.

Naruto Online is the BEST MMORPG on a web browser. And to see it be treated terribly by Oasis makes me sad. I love this game. I just wish they would pull their head out of their *s and do things that HELP EVERYONE. I mean, if they made it a better game, then more people are likely to spend. But Oasis just seems to love upsetting the players.

@Daiske, Everyone who has been around the forums know very well that you are more than what you claim that you are. No one is buying your statements unfortunately. You were disingenuous from the start and have been disingenuous to the players for a long time. Which is frustrating. You gave the go ahead to the mods to post it, it was posted into the news section. Then you act like it wasn't official? I'm sorry, when people post things in the news section, its going to come off as official. Then you throw your own mods under the bus because the feedback was ignored and you gave them permission to post it?

I don't know how you expect us to believe what you're saying. I don't even think you believe the stuff that you say.
