A few months back, I was critical of the game in light of Tobei's allegations. I was personally harassed by one of the moderators for echoing things about Tobei's allegations that were "not true" and my posts were deleted, but the moderator wouldn't specifically specify what wasn't true. Then I was banned from their official Discord, wrote to Daiske and got no response. I actually managed to reach out to Oasis Games in China and filed a complaint. I managed to speak with someone who insisted "good changes" were coming and I should "sit tight." Now Oasis is moving forward with the refine update, so here we are.

So why do I still play this game?

After playing this game for two years, I've learned to appreciate it by taking myself out of the competitive equation. I can't compete anymore with those who have the money to benefit from these updates and unbalanced ninjas. I've come to accept that I will not be as "good" as those who invest hundreds if not thousands of dollars in recharges. I play Naruto Online to kill time and that's about it, really. Sure, I don't feel like I'm being listened to, but that's not going to stop me from deriving enjoyment from whatever enjoyment I can salvage.
