Hello!
There might be a chance of him being released as a playable ninja in the game though the question of when is still unknown. If you're aware of it, he's already in the game and he's included in the roster of Arena's Trial Ninjas that players get weekly. Anyways, if you want to make a suggestion or request for him to be released, you can visit our Bugs and Support Section and create a thread under the category of Suggestion or visit our News Section and look for the Events Feedback Forms to give your suggestions and inputs about our weekly cycle of events. I'm going to give you my feedback regarding GNW Shikamaru, if you don't mind.
Back when the GNW Collection Scroll was announced, I had asked players in the Naruto Online Discord (before it was shut down) of what was in it. I noticed GNW Shikamaru was there, so I was really excited to see another ninja I can work towards to 5* through the Ninja Collection. Unfortunately, GNW Shikamaru was removed (and I think a couple of others) from the collection scroll. It felt like Oasis had slapped players in the face or that Oasis was blatantly scared it would be OP and beat SoSP meta. We already see GNW Shikamaru in Arena Trial as you stated, this shows to me that he doesn't need to be tested and Oasis is just holding him back from being released clearly out of spite. So I'd like you to formally speak to your higher ups, in getting him added not only to the game, but also added to the GNW Scroll where he belongs.
