Hey,

The majority of the exams do work using Sage Naruto and Gaara combination. I'd suggest you to change to wind main and try using the following lineups :

Neji's got the taunt, Naruto will do some damage against his Kurama version and will even kill him if there will be some combo. Wind main is very important in these exams, because she does summon clones and these can tank attacks. Gaara is an excellent damage dealing ninja and he should knock out majority of the field if you manage to launch him the right timing. I do not really remember every step, but it's easy with that team, used it before to test things out.

Now, regarding the next stages, 258 is no different, exactly the same ninjas. You just have to make sure to launch the barrier and fire with Gaara. Everything else should be easy afterwards. Change the formation if needed by the way.

Till 260 you can just keep it up with the same formation, however, you'll need small changes. Play with the standard combination Gaara - Naruto - Wind main and the last ninja can be Neji as stated above for these stages with so many ninjas, Killerbee to buff both Naruto/Gaara and Iruka to interrupt something if needed.
