1＃ Go ToI'm new and I'm not sure what server I should go for. I feel like S2 would have the best population but everyone is probably very powerful there. what do you guys recommend go with the newest server or a well-established one?

I would go to S1 or S2.. Sure you'll get your '*' beat every day.. but You'll have people to play with.. There is a HARD CAP. It's not like people can keep getting stronger and stronger, not untill more things are added to the game.
So catch up on a populated server, and enjoy yourself.
A New server which is great, may seem dead, that is why i would never go to a new server.
Seriously. New servers = fair competitiveness, but in my opinion a short life in terms of activeness.
Older servers that have been out for a while = WAY MORE ACTIVE, but you will lose. ALOT.
edit: Eventually servers will be merged together. This may be a while from now, but just keep that in mind.

Go with a new server.
It will have server opening events, you'll be more on par with everyone.
Will have a better/easier time getting into groups and the sorts.
Overall, it will offer a better experience then joining one of the earlt servers.
Im on S1, and people come in, new, try to start groups and such, but it doesn't work out as there is an establishment of the top already, and to go into a server like that so late into things, its going to be very hard on you. -

If you want to enjoy extra bonuses and an easier head start go for a new server, but like said above, the pupulation isnt usually the best.
If you want a super active server join an old one. You can still play pretty well and you'll only really lose in pvp group functions but things like sage world tend to be more balanced with a higher volume of players. Just accept the fact that unless you will top up like crazy you wont reach the top anytime soon and be sure to stay on top of your gear and you will easily beat the level rushers. Slow and steady wins the race and is the key to enjoying this game in an old server, unless you feel like rushing to level 70 with only 10k power then getting beat by a level 50 with 13k is enjoyment. But its your call. -

Can you link me to a source on the server merging? I was going to post about it but if they are in fact going to be merged 'eventually' then that would be nice to know as servers are dying fast. -

Do things below :
1. Go to newest server
2. Creat a group
3. Gather some core players to your group (max 8)
4. Play normally and hope it will be dead soon.
5. Join GNW and get packs for 8 of you, don't care about the other. If they quit your group just let them go. Since a dead server won't have more than 8 active groups :lol
6. Enjoy your packs everyweek and power up :lol
Eventually in the future all server will be merge so better grind your power first for cross servers pvp than focus on old servers just because the population :lol -
