I stacked him at pos one with earth main, Ningendo, and Asuma. The damage is super weak. Jonin Minato hits harder than him.

I don't know why you'd use Ningendo (Might be missing something here). Just keep in mind, we don't actually know the full situation out of what you said. It could had been your opponent having a lot of resistance or shields. (I can't say for sure as I'm still trying to get my mystery Skill Trialed)

Ehm, the mystery is basically an enhanced version of masked man's since also interrupts and hits 2 other targets AND ALSO TRIGGERS A COMBO CHASE since delivers knockdown too.

What did you expect that also landed the same damage as AGK's or Gaara's?

When a mystery directly removes buffs and shields never land high damage. Simple.

That comparison is just... wrong. Mind you it's a 40 chakra 1 battlefield cooldown mystery. So there is no way it's an enhanced version of masked man. The closest to what you said is Itachi [Edo Tensei]s mystery and no, that thing hit super hard too.

Hashirama Y2 is a mystery mean for people want to use him as p1 or p2 and it's indeed has very low damage scaling compare to other skill that use 40 chakra. If anything you can say his Y2 is like another version of Kakashi [Susano]. Low mystery damage, just there for the buff.

In conclusion, Tencent didn't intented for him to be a p1 because his Edo version do a better job, they want him to be p3, p4 and just made him a Y2 mystery for the lulz.

To be a 100% atk/nin one (average damage one) should cost minimum 80 chakra and have a cd of 2 rounds.

Since costs only 40 and has only a cd of 1 round is obviously its damage is low.

Try to look at it from the point of view of the target with 30k shields on him.

What happens when you use itachi or masked man on it?

First you do the damage then the buffs and shields are removed then you apply the control effect.

Net effect?

0 damage on the target but the target is controlled.

What happens instead with hashi?

Hashi lands damage then removes shields and buffs then apply immobile and knockdown.

Net effect?

The target is controlled and also suffered the damage of the whole combo chase that followed triggered by knock-down.

The only mystery really close to it is skewering (except that even if you use neurotoxin the control effect gets applied before the eventual status immunity is removed) but is single target and it was given to water main because is extremely hard and most of the times counterproductive to actually let her use it freely as a move 1.

Hashi's Y is quite useless. Come on, you don't use Hashi for this.
Nowaday, everyone have remove shield and buff on their setup. He do knockdown ? wow, incredible. Come on, you can't use him p1 since he do 0 damage.
His instant barrier is WAY WAY better.

And please, do not compare MM's mystery with Hashi's Y wtf

Yeah. Makes sense. I am planning to use him as cheap p1 carry ninja cause I'm too poor to afford a Naruto SOP or other carry ninjas. This game price tag per ninja is ridiculous. Guess I'll * with Itachi Susanoo.

Hashirama is meant to be a support ninja not pos1 so I'm not sure why you're surprised that his damage is low as it also removes shields, buffs and causes immobile.
I'd recommend using his +1 prompt barrier rather than his Y+2.

Edo Itachi does have a dodge, only chases though.

Gaara full sb or Edo roshi mysteries apply immobile and trigger a combo chase but do not remove buff and shields and they cost 60/80 chakra.

So since they don't remove buff and shields their damage is good.

Hashi remove buffs and shields too so that's why the damage is meh.

Btw, just to say, you can immobile a super armor ninja or the enemy itachi edo with hashi mystery, just to say and the prompt barrier have the opposite issue the y mystery has. You meet a roshi, a kisame samehada, a madara 5ks or even an itachi full sb and it becomes useless.

watermain's sharkbomb or lighting main's 40 chakra mystery are a better pos1 then hashi with y...

@Renji: yes edo itachi dodge chase, but dodge is way better and prevent to be interrupted

@Scarlet: Shisui do same thing, even better. He do not have the godlike hashi's chase, but still, his mystery "is same". (remove buff, chaos 2 rounds (instead of immobile 1 round), proc chase, and hit more target; but 3rounds cd)

Edit: Well, i think mystery Y is good when you don't use konoha ninjas p1. You still have perma ninjutsu buff at start and increase mystery cd when chase. But Hashi is definitly not a good position 1 ninja.

That is debatable, since Edo Itachi can potentially dodge every chase against him, its better than super armor and you can break combo hits if he dodges those which can end chases right then and there.

Compare that to a normal dodge that can be baited....dodge on chase is superior.
