1＃ Go ToSo edo roshis mystery says "when your chakra us below 60 this skill does 20 percent less damage", so what does this mean? It costs 60 chakra so you literally can't have 60 chakra while using it either since all chakra generation you get from using the mystery is applied after the mystery goes off instead of before.

no it doesnt work that way, its when he has the barrier up and you use his mystery which costs 60 and GAINS an additional 30. so you need to start off with 90 chakra.
@Scarlettblue the translation is correct, just the wording
You don't gain teh chakra until after the mystery goes off though like I said so you wouldn't be able to have 60 chakra after you click the mystery and before it goes off.

You get 30 chakra even when the barrier is not up. That one is his passive.
We are talking about the mystery.
The mystery originally costed 80 chakra then they modified it and now costs 60 chakra only but if you have less than 80 chakra before using it lands 20% less damage.
Lets try to clarify.
You have 100 chakra before using the mystery.
The mystery lands full damage and you go at 40 chakra then the passive effect procs and you gain 30 chakra going at 70.
You have 70 chakra before using the mystery.
The mystery lands 80% damage only you go at 10 chakra and then the passive procs and you gain 30 chakra going at 40.
This is how it works.
You get the chakra from roshis passive AFTER the mystery goes off so no, that wouldn't work either.

you don't understand, the damage the mystery does depends on the amount of chakra you have BEFORE using it. the chakra you get from his passive after doesnt matter at all, if we go with what your saying the mystery would remove 20% of the damage already done if your chakra is not high enough after the skill, doesnt make sense put that way right ?
Actually you would also be wrong, if you look at edo itachis dream state debuff, which takes 30 chakra along with debuff removal to remove, requires u to have 30 chakra while removing it. Which means earth mains double standard mystery wont remove it if you only have 40 chakra to start with since the game still requires 30 chakra to remove the dream state, so staying consistent to this way the game works would mean that edo roshis mystery, ba
sed on the text for it, would require you to have 60 chakra WHILE using the mystery after you click it yet before the mystery goes off, to get the full damage. So, sorry, but youre wrong. -
