From my perspective, GNW Kankuro is used mainly for its added DOT damage. Poison+Ignition can more than makeup for any loss attack power by not having him upgraded since those effects cause unavoidable damage. Also the 2 aoe debufs that can be hard to remove unless your enemy has Sakura or water main(but with your combo you should be able to stop the healer while in the process of using GNW Kankuro's mystery) . He literally does everything normal kankuro does plus more. I have a 4 star Kankuro and I dropped him immediately after getting the GNW version. My suggestion would be to focus on life moods to keep him alive since he is is going to be missing higher star stat. Once you get more fragments to upgrade GNW reroll your moods as you want.
