First and foremost I am aware that many of the players that frequent the forums are typically the most powerful and experienced players in the game so I doubt this will largely register with you but the rest of us I hope this post draws attention to something that makes the leveling process very painful. In this game there are only a handful of cross-server events however the only one low level players get to participate in is Sage World Battlefields. I LOVE THIS EVENT, it lets you truly enjoy the fruits of your labor and really test your skills (in theory). Initially, from 30-55ish the event is very fun, you will run into higher level players but with some smart strategies you have a real chance. Once you leave the comfort of that level range you are getting the full force of the end game forced upon you. A level 60 even with 22k power has no chance of beating a level 75 with 40k power. This type of imbalance makes the entire event unplayable as this is a feeding frenzy and for months on end you will be nothing but chum to be eaten and feed their winning streaks. Please find some way to return the spirit of competition back to this event and bracket the battlefields ba
For those of you that took the time to read this, thank you very much and I hope this makes its way to the eyes of the developers in charge of tuning.
Thanks from Ghostcrawler on S1222
My sage consists of level 30-100's. despite being able to place top 3 in most sage's, I decided to stop doing sage all together due to the lack of variation in opponent teams. It gets boring fighting the same old teams and ninjas such as 6p, shisui and edo hiru. In a game with such a vast amount of different team variations, people really lack creativity.

it's called the Nash Equilibrium. look it up, u might begin to understand how me
@OP: a very very long time ago i was a new player too and i had your same thoughts and hopes.
So seems to me right to tell you the plain truth.
The goal of the game is making you recharge.
All the events are sc
In early stages the game gives you the feeling is possible to compete and catch up without recharging, maybe by being lucky, after a while gives you the idea that by recharging a bit is still possible to do it, then after 6/7 months you understand the truth.
At that point is up to you to choose what to do.
The real competition and the real fun of this game (at least from the p.o.w. of a very old player like i am) stays in the 10/20$ per month recharge rank because by staying at that level (monthly cards + low level froggy/jonin medal) let you take part in most of the events by actually giving you the idea you are doing something every week, because you have not to choose between going exclusively for power or exclusively for ninjas if you carefully plan ahead for what ninja you want to go for and because there are a lot of people like you and is still possible for wise f2p to beat you even if generally you win and is very possible for you to beat people that recharge under the 100$ per month level since the difference between spending 30$ per month and spending 200 is so low it basically does not exist (the real difference comes when you are able to hit the top recharging levels in those recharging events, that generally means spending 500/1000$ in the event).
but sadly, to enjoy this part of the game you have to accept the fact that often you'll be matched with the people the game is aimed to, because you, me and whoever is out there that is not a whale are the plancton that feed the whales in oasis perspective.
The only way to enjoy the game after the first 6 months is to beehave like if whales do not exist and forget about the rewards they generally get exist too.
P.S. Beware that level freezing was a policy that was developed by people that played since 1.0 and 2.0 because up to late 2.0 there was NO REASON to level freeze and actually going for exp was good and you had people that did everything to get max level the fastest possible, so all the original whales we had in our servers were level capped when those events became cross server, so we thought that level freezing was an option because it actually was a synonymous to whale-free battlefields.
But, little by little, the level cap rised furthermore and not top3 whales in top fields thought that made sense for them too to freeze at the old level cap and so also on our servers the lower level sages ceased to be whale-free, but this didn't happen immediately, since the level cap rose once every 6 months more or less (from the initial 85 to 90, 95, 100 and the actual 105). In the meanwhile the legend that level freezing was good spreaded and so also in new servers people began to do it, with the difference that their whales had no reason to level up as fast as our ones had initially, so they never experienced the whale-free sages, but the legend is still there because actually in low level fields for servers under 6 months of age the difference is not that big.
It's actually your problem you are not competitive, don't blame others. Unless your have started to play in an old server, because in new server clusters, players are super low (new servers like 1k+). I'm no level freezer or p2w, but I am always in at least Top5 in SWB. I also never did care what happens in SWB, and after they added adv.refines in Group Shop and Monthly event, I can troll all i want in SWB just for fun. No need to write long monologues about this topic.

Judging by when OP's forum account was created and his server#, he is clearly not competitive.
I really don't want to point this out but there are games out there that you have to understand how to play to enjoy it. You can't casually go into it and expect to receive the same treatment to someone who is willing to learn and a lot of time.

I never said I couldn't win against these ninjas. I find 6p pretty easy to counter. They're just boring to go up against constantly.

When was the last time you leveled a new account? I crated one a few months ago on 1184 (UK) just for the fun of it. Sage world was luaghable. You had people level freezing on pretty much every level. lvl 40 with 35k bp, lvl 50 with 60-70k power. Now lets not forget, those are levels before you get access to the most juicy features as far as bp is concerned (treasure tool, ninjas assist etc.). We have people on our server 10* who lvl freeze at lvl 68-70 with 100k power. Obviously that is no fun for people who just are about to reach this level. But on the lower level it was really frustrating for most people (i did not care much for myself, because it was just a fun account to do some lvling again).
He is from 1222, now i dunno if that is UK as well but i asume this would take place on HK and NA as well.
If you got time to complain here, why not recharge some money to enjoy the game
A lot of money is needed to become 'the strongest' since I've seen about it all in swb. Level 60s with 100k. So money isn't going to solve this issue. Unless, you want to devote your living soul to this *.
