You can try the following ideas and lineups :

Water main position one is really good and helps a lot. Try to farm the purple summons daily from the world map, they'll be really fast recruited. Instead of Hinata, you c*e Neji as well, since they both got taunt.


A lineup which is overall solid for the start. Choza scales every time he receives healing and restores chakra (from water main's shark bomb) and that makes him kinda really good at the start.


Once you unlock the last chase of the water main, you can try this team as well, it's really fun to use.

You can replace Orochimaru with Kabuto or Guy if you want here or once you got Kurenai you can replace himwith her as well, or if you get any better supporting and healing ninja in general ( Few of the pains, Sakura GNW, female supporters like Sai suit, etc)

Basically Earth main is not the best ninja for the start, he needs to work with better ninjas as he's mostly a supporting character. Wind Main and Fire main do still do a great job. Here are some ideas:



Only you unlock the sage jutsu passive, use that instead and also you c*e Orochimaru Akatsuki instead of Guy here.


Full buffs team, works very decent having the females supporting you and at the same time buffing you because of wind mains passive.





Hinata has got taunt, she'll block some attacks, Konohamaru buffs himself for every Konoha Ninja, so he'll do a lot of damage himself.


Once you acquire Kurenai you can as well run for example a team like this :


Kurenai is really an awesome support in general, once you get her, you c*e her everywhere basically.


I'd suggest you to get Iruka from Treasure of the Sage once the event appears, he's an awesome ninja and he'll be super useful in general.
