In all honesty looking what this naruto ronin does in 2v2 and 3v3 fights it wouldnt be a bad idea to keep this monstrosity out of most players games.
You say that but people will complain if it is not easily available to get. Nothing is going to improve if everyone else have the same ninja...
I am not saying we need f2p events where we can catch up to p2w I know. My own power is 213K among the top 10 on my own server, pretty decent for being f2p and I still can have some decent fights.
What I said was, sage, matasuri and bonds should have matching according power not level so everyone has a fair chance.
If there are 30 people in sage and 6 of them are 350K-550K, and rest are 190-250K then yeah f2p or low spenders are still food for p2ws if it was balanced no one would have a 30 win streak and a 30 second battle.
Make these events have power brackets that are less than 50-75K and/or more than 50-75K your power so everyone gets a fair chance.
If you are expecting full balancing, that will never happen as sage brackets depend on who signs up and the amount needed to fill up a bracket.
@Danzō: From what I have noticed, there are 2 or more different sages at a time but definitely 2, both are cross-server and have the same server ranges that you have in Space Time and Training Grounds (some 180-200 servers more or less) and no the time you sign up doesn't matter as I have signed up right when registration opens or is about to close and I end up on the same sage. Sage brackets depend on levels. Level 104-105 from your server are placed together with other 104-105 for certain. Bonds and Arena however, are fully cross server where you can find opponents from S1 to S1248.
Its not about crying, or to git gud. To put it simple, you (generalizing) maxed out your position 1 refinement, and some on position 2, you paid for it or collected from sage or saved coupons or some aliens came down and handed it to you. Why not fight others who did the same or are near that or something along those lines. Others are still grinding for it and its getting harder to grind. It still wont be fully fair if you do power brackets instead of levels as there are people who are 150K and have 22K ini, use specific ninjas and most certainly win most fights. But grouping even a 250k (100K position 1 personal BP) with a someone who has 500K (200K position 1 personal BP) is just unfair.
@⚙Lexa: Thank you for your post.
At the moment, a sage bracket need a certain amount of players to be considered full for the sage day. It is somewhere between 30-90 players per bracket depending on how many signed up for sage. The system won't make one bracket full and leave the other basically empty (like less than 5 per field unless someone can prove otherwise). I believe they try to evenly distribute the players to different brackets since sometimes I move to the top bracket as I barely get huge increases in power.
Clearly, there won't be 30-90 players that are high in power and so seeing a 500k beat a 200k will happen regardless. What would happen if sage focused on power first is that the players in the top bracket that they leveled to fast and not focused on power are going to move down to a lower bracket and level freezers in lower brackets are more likely to move up to the top brackets. It would be better than what we have but expecting that everyone will get a fair balance is unrealistic.
Now, I'm not sure if you expect change or just venting as I'm sure some people here already know by know that they aren't going to change the criteria for the regular sage. The only upside is that Tencent added the "Arena Sage", which is apparently for one day of the week, where only initiative is considered so that helps a little in terms of balancing.
