Not sure about clothes or runes dilema, but you get all the low level clothes from strong approach, so definitively do not buy those. Also, medium clothes, you will also get them all from strong approach, so if you buy clothes, i'd go for high, but since we are so early in the game, not worth it imo. So by deduction logic, i'd go for runes :D

And as for the scrolls and opening 10 from treasure. You only get a rare ninja at every 4-6 x 10 openings.

So, if you want to get some of the ones from Sage, if you are really lucky, you can get at like 4x10 or even 2x10. But after that you will get at around 9x10 or 10x10, cos the average is 5x10 for 1 rare ninja :D
My experience so far is, 6x10 in the Pain treasure, and i got Jigokudo.

Also, on one server, i got Gakido from a free draw. That was pretty lucky. I only play on 2 servers, 1 is total free to play except gaara, the other i've spent 20 bucks. :)
