Anyone else wondering why did they have to replace the first chikushodo pain ?

I actually prefer the old team from Jiraya's Chronicles. They r Iconic.

ahh ok, i rem now... captured not destroyed.. i kept thinking they could just revive it.

Now i think back, if not for Jiraya's hard work, they (Konoha/Sage Naruto) might not have beaten Nagato's six path so ezily.
