In my opinion, get the third summon which is Gamabunta .. Gamabunta gives more power/atts than the Serpent .. After getting Gamabunta, make him and Katsuyu as your 2 main summons for GNWs .. Feed only 2 of them and forget about the Serpent .. Its not gonna die or disappear if you let Serpent starve for ages .. xD
