Because power have nothing to do with Matsuri match making. It's ba
sed on level. You get opponent higher level than you after a win, lower than you after a lost. After 60 seconds queue it will match you randomly.

Not entirely true. I went back to back loses with opponents higher level than me. Look at it more this way there are 3 brackets no wins, loser, and winner. Start out by fighting either someone starting out like you or a random. Win that game then you go to the winner bracket. You will then be placed against someone around your level who won their last game. Lose that game now you are placed with someone who lost their previous game. After 60 seconds though it's fair game. Not sure if this is how the system works, but this is how I have always perceived it to be.

You guys need to read clearly. It says "chance" doesnt mean you will, win or lose. Yes it works here and there but, you're missing the key word, theres a "chance" you might be put against. Doesnt mean it will happen.

Yep and not only that. Is not necessary that you hit 60 seconds to be matched with a random player. It's enough that one between you and the player you are matched with hits 60 seconds for it to happen.
So is very possible that is your enemy that hit 60 seconds and that you get matched with him just because you were the guy in queue at that specific moment even if you didn't reach 60 seconds of queuing time.
