Personally, I think it'd be really cool to be able to shape shift into a genderbent version of your character (I, probably like many others, thought Scarlet looked kinda... feminine), but you guys (that is, people who make/update the game) totally have better things to do than that.

That's not a bad idea, because you have the ninja you shape shift into anyway, and sometimes you want different combos. Also, I don't ever really feel like I have enough room for another healer besides Kabuto on my team, who is pretty good - but sometimes not enough to fight against an Azure Fang team with multiple healers. So being another healer for the day and knocking out some Azures in the Survival Trial would be pretty cool.
