The stamina cap is useful for the people that have to work, go to school, or for when life just happens. You get 440 stamina per day (100 from reset, 100 at 13:00, and 10 per hour equates to 240 per day). Missing just one day without the increased cap means you missed out on the stamina. EXP isn't as important as the ability to sweep for materials and ninja fragments. I'll also add that I save my stamina on Sunday so when Monday resets I'll have 500 stamina for the double exp reward.
