Because they hoped to milk whales even with treasures BLATANTLY made for f2p only.
That's why they merged two treasures together and they removed mei (mei was the other common rare in edo yagura treasure) while also cutting by half the duration of the treasure (in cn they stay up 1 month, not two weeks only), but they behave like if we did not know how the things work here and in CN, so they only managed to make some whale waste their previously hoarded reserves of ss, but no competitive f2p or low casher is so mad to go in a treasure that was modified in comparison with CN knowing it will appear again next month or in another future event if there is no rebate available li
nked to it.
Agreed, this was a blatant attempt to gouge the players. I will go a step further and point out that they even went as far as to make it so the rares didn't alternate like every other treasure. Lets categorize the changes:
1) The shortened the duration of the treasure to 2 weeks instead of 1 month.
2) Combined two treasures into one.
3) Removed the Mei common 10 pull (conveniently after we get skill breaks with her)
4) Made the rares completely random instead of guaranteed first get like every other treasure.
5) Didn't combine with a rebate (even though we had a rebate literally every two weeks and we should have had one this week).
I'm not saying you guys are intentionally bad......but this is just horrible. What a way to introduce a new treasure, eh?
