Hey guys!

A guide type of a thread about mood system, mostly focusing on how to pick your mood for a ninja

I got a request to cover moods of ninjas but it's impossible because 1 mood won't always be ideal for a ninja, it will depend on how you're planning to use him mostly.

First of all to cover the basic things moods start of at 5% and they increase by 4% with each click all the way up to 65%

Lvl 1>6 = 5% to 25% with a cost of 2 mood scrolls per upgrade = 10

Lvl 6>11 = 25 to 45% with a cost of 10 mood scrolls per upgrade = 50

Lvl 11>16 = 45% to 65% with a cost of 20 mood scrolls per upgrade = 100

Required 160 mood scrolls for a full 5>65 upgrade on a single ninja

Now let's talk about choosing a mood:

1. Ask yourself how do you want to use this ninja?

Some of the roles are full on damage, shield provider/healer, front ninja to take hits etc

Obviously for full on damage ninja you'll want to go either attack or ninjutsu mood with removing life/def/res

Shield providers love a good resistance mood

Front ninjas with health mood in most cases but that depends on ninja of course

I'll talk more about details in next points

2. Check their growth rates

This is a good way to know what mood you'd want to use, usually ninjas that have high growth rates on a certain stats do like having that mood (ignore looking at hp growth rate because that one is always the highest since it scales differently)

Let's take a quick look at Kurama who is a bit tough to make a mood for

Screenshot_1

See his atk/nin mood is exactly the same and all of his skills are tai/nin therefore it actually really doesn't matter which mood you choose since it will scale the same, in his case you'd want to look at which tactic spot he will be standing (for me back when I was using him I had ghost kill at higher level and therefore he was +atk mood)

But if you don't want him to be full on damage but to be more tanky then I'd recommend going Life mood, his life growth is actually very good when compared to other ninjas

Another quick example

Screenshot_3

Hiruzen has resistance as his best growth rate but obviously I want him to be a damage dealer therefore he gets ninjutsu

Because he is mostly a pure nin ninja except for standard attack he could even have -5% attack

Screenshot_4

And of course if there is any shield providing ninja even if his resistance growth rate is small I'd recommend having resistance because you want to get more benefit from his shields since he would server as a support anyway therefore doesn't need damage.

3. Check your ninja skills

This point is especially valuable for full on damage ninjas , check if atk or nin is more important by looking at their skills

Edo Hiruzen benefits more from ninjutsu because his mystery and chase uses only ninjutsu and that's what you are using him for pretty much
