Edo roshi is the best barrier ninja to support naruto six paths because he is immune to debuffs and let you get chakra when a jinchuriki uses a mystery (like kushina normal or bee sst, whose mysteries have 0 chakra cost), and, honestly speaking, 60% def boost is big for naruto, overall if you use him with wind main.
Shisui is good but he can be made useless easily and he is made of paper tissue.

Very hard to beat if the barrier is up.
I don't have 6 Path, I only have Kurama. But I'd rather choose normal Roshi over Edo Roshi any day.
The buff is nice. But you don't really use him in serious matches.
I've used him for fun sometimes. Once the barrier has broken or taken over it's done. No scaling, no self-heal, can't tank.
His chase is nice, but if you use 6 Path, he already covers that.
