  • I can't agree with this. Edo Itachi was meant to counter the kakuzu meta, but instead it joined the meta, which is why Beheading Sword Kakashi became the counter to shut down kakuzu.

I agreed, Naruto does Tai/Nin with his mystery. Itachi only reduces 50% to pure Nin. Therefore he doesn't counter Naruto.
