and since you asked, here it is xd (be prepared to suffer at the crappy unedited parts, lol)

1. Sketch basic positioning lines, yada yada

2. Attempt lineart face and eyes

3. Add the hair sketch, clothing

4. Begin coloring! (yea ik it's flipped, but forgot and took the screenshot then)

5. Smoothed the shading, started the eyes

6. Finished up the eyes, more painting on the face

7. I start hair base

8. Watch some hair painting tutorials, add hair texture

9. Add more texture + lighting, did some clothing, think that she looks weird (i realize my eye shape is bad, too lazy to fix it)

10. Brighten everything cuz her face is like lumpy dough, add more details

11. Add a background and signature, finally fixes her eyes

12. Decides to test out new filters (her hair looks fluffier lmao), smoothes out bad lighting, likes the result, why not post it xD

and it's not as much of talent but rather a lot of practice, haha :D

and what drawing program do you use? That might have something to do with the "blocky" art, since different programs have different brushes, etc...

Well, she wasn't intended to be xD, just more serious looking, since most fanarts have her really happy or cutesy,

but true, prolly overdid the shine in the eyes

and that's true, yep. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try using more detailed brushes in the future; didn't really bother too much with details here (like, she's missing eyelashes lmfao) cuz it was a just a stress*coughprocrastinationcough*break for a few hours xD

oh and if you'd like, I could do breakdowns for future stuff---I for one enjoy seeing yours at least, since it's interesting to see how other people proceed with things
