While I don't have Kabuto (YET!) I still managed to pull out a win using the set up you suggested with 2 additions: Queen Momentum and using Sakura instead of Kabuto for now. I beat the "Wind Blade" Plot Instance using that set up with only 1 death~! I count it as a success since I can go back later and re-do to get the full battle points.
