I need help working on it. I have over 6k coupons and my 5 natures are already at level 20. Does anyone have any recommendations on where I should spend my coupons to increase my 1st pos init? Refines, Charms, Rune Stones, Eight Gates, Magatamas etc. are all things you can stack your pos 1 with. What you spend coupons for really depends on how far you are on your pos 1 equipment already.

Assist links is also kinda good for Initiative.

Treasured tools is by far the best way to gain initiative, if your server is less active, you should consider getting the first place prize for Wheel of Fortune

A couple of different ways. The most efficient is to get your assist links all to level 9 on your position 1 (gives just over 500 int) and then going for cave keys in the moon coin shop to get 1050 every cave key rebate to stack your position one (and then use ultimate essences on your position 1 tool).

By far the highest int gain is by leveling up your refines but that also takes the longest.
