I guess it's easier to spend money if you didn't work hard for it.. I've seen kids in my server braging how much $$ they spent in this game and when you think about it, how would a child be able to afford to recharge? Then it hits you that they must have "borrowed" some from their parents credit card or sth.

The Whales, have enough money to spend on those other things you would spend it on as well.

Not necessarily, since this game is actually also a gambling house you may become affected by the gambling bad habit and spend even if you shouldn't actually do it.

NO is not really a gambling house. Those who become addicted to the gambling factor don't get satisfied in this game (and I am not talking about bad odds - but about how everything is behind some kind of number range like ~1050 pulls in treasure). You will find most of them in Gatcha games or on actual gambling sites.

There probably also are unemployed people playing Arena 12 hours a day unable to pay their rent, getting their only dopamine-dose from this game. But, as for the Whales addicted to the "gambling"-element in this game, it's a waste minority.

I know at least 5 players who spend half of their monthly income here. This is indeed not the same as the examples you made, but comes quite close to it.

I was just telling you that not necessarily who spends 500$ per month here is somebody that earns 3 millions a month, may even be somebody that earsn 1000 or 1500...

Give this man a medal. So many people spending almost their monthly salary here and it doesn't mean they are millionaires.

Similar games did this quite a while ago. I doubt it is still practiced. It would make no sense. Once Browser-Games figured out that they can open new servers every week this practice pretty much vanished. The guy from Server 50 is in no competition with the guy from server 900. Therefore he cannot motivate the play to buy anything really.

I don't know why y'all are telling OP he shouldn't complain. He has the right to complain. This recharge event is ridiculous. It doesn't matter if you get all this by recharging, you are still spending money to get the currency in the game, as in, you do not have that *real* money to spend in your day-to-day life.
