Easy ways to prevent Hidan getting shut down.

- Make him immune to conditions with Root of Warrior
- Use a taunt tank or flood the field with protective clones for turn 1
- Kill whoever is about to use their mystery first
- Chiyo/Jigokudo - It's not like you need damage dealers for this team. XD

That only matters if you don't time your jutsu or they running on auto. Jutsu timing against a manual opponent can fire off Hidan's power without any opening to interrupt it. Autos don't fall for this trick but if Hidan is in the back you can wait for their auto interrupts to go off by themselves before using the power.
