Dude let me honest here, i think there's been worst people * posting here just for the hell of it, and im not one of them, i only speak facts, and the fact is, lot of people been saying some truths like some events need a revamp, as a player spender or not, do you think these events are good enough for you, put yourself in f2p shoes, are they good enough? hell even spenders are upset with, so u can imagine how a f2p feels(which btw the term "f2p" has many interpretations), just because i have a foul language, doesnt need to be censored, or inciting drama, or whatever the reason of my replies being deleted, the drama is already there, you cant defuse it with simply erasing the problem, regarding feedback i can feel at least some people expressing themselves on feedback and they are never heard, im not the voice of them, but at least there's one thing u did this week, you brought back edo deidara, as many were asking for it, so might aswell bring back madara 5k so the rest of us can fini*(i will finish him either way so no use of holding him back).
No polls, rework your feedback survey(last time it had questions i didnt even feel the need to answer), sit down with mods and some players and game liasons, even devs, and talk among you, this game's success relies heavy upon communication within the team, what do the spenders want, what f2p want, how can we improve the game, listening to the feedback, okay let's rework our survey, let's look at our data how many coupons were spent, how many recharges were made, you have all of that, and even so i cant believe your making these amateur mistakes, putting items you can get for free(bonds scrolls yeah...i know those), you can get so much outta of it, if you look closely at what WE community want, make smart choices, im not going to spend on a item i can get for free overtime from other sources like daily events with sun scrolls currency.
With that in mind, i hope the devs work harder and look up data, you guys have the tools but you hardly use them, at least that's what i see from outside of the circle.
What people could do is be less toxic when they complain about the situation. You can complain while being a decent person voicing your concern.
Haha . I meant the oasis developers editing/copy pasting what was given by Tencents .
But it seems like Oasis have the decision to decide where things are in events and how they are priced, which is why people are angry after comparing with China. People expect it should look similar. Otherwise, people will view it as a cash grab which tend to target the many who are impatient or don't know where they were introduced in China. I mean people bought ay 3rd, Samui and omoi before the their treasure came out....
u dont see toxicity from me dude, it's some moderators who "think" i incite drama that's all.
Probably they have a loose definition of drama. I mean the guy above your previous statement is the typical person you expect to mute.
I called them out on their official statements about advanced threads and their "low rates" in SA then out of nowhere the rates increased a lot with no notice, asked for transparency about the situation and got the inciting drama mute. At least I got my answer (already expected it) about their intentions with the threads.
They shouldn't be muting half the stuff they do, but they do- hence the meme.
But if let's say that half is all "why you attacking f2p, i'm going to quit, give me compensation you monsters, etc." type of complaining, do you think some of the mutes aren't necessary to limit the toxic community this forum has become. I don't know if you noticed or were present last year but this wasn't like this. Perhaps more people with this behavior started to join this server or the behaviour started to show when Oasis decided to add shisui earlier than expected.
Or could it be that things got worse?- I mean if we pull this back to Sakuras flower garden, where people were suppose to get a Tobirama for first place & then it bugged and they claimed that it was a cross server event, so everyone was just given 2k coupons, even though half the people that paid to get first only did so for the Tobirama? There's been a lot of bs since then,
I don't agree, that things like "Why you attacking F2P", as long as he isn't being utterly rude to someone then they shouldn't be muted at all, regulate it to a single thread & allow people to voice those opinions, lock any new threads that come up and direct it to a single thread. This is how most gaming forums I've been to have done it in the past. -Deleting & muting only furthers peoples annoyance.
I'm not referring to this thread in particular but during the Sakura event period where Jiburiru permanently muted half of everyone making a post & deleted every other post..
I like how you ignored the part of the type players since that can be true. We had awful events before and people did not complain this bad before. Surprised someone remembered the flower event as the amount of people with short-attention spans. If case people did not know, that was not the first time that event appeared and that time people had no issues with it being cross server. Even though it did not say the event was cross-server (just like sakura's gift), many assumed it wasn't which is illogical. Let's hope the next time the flower event comes and Oasis forgets to add the "cross-server" (most likely since they like to copy and paste what they wrote in the past), I really hope people don't just assume once again.
Statements like "why you attacking f2p" is inherently ba
Alrighty boyo. I get what you're saying. Daiske may be a lot of things, but he doesn't exactly deserve all of the unrestrained hate. If people wanna complain they might as well do it logically.
Now I might be neutral on the Hana issue, but transparency is a no no. I'm going to have to dispute you on that one, boyo.
First of all. What's made you defend Daiske so much. I'm curious to see what he's done that has won him your favor. What kind of godly thing did he do for you to worship him and make him "yo boi", eh?
Secondly, the statement of "how can you say he lacks transparency when all he does is reply with logical statements that nobody wants to accept" really fires me up. Let's look at some of his statements.
There was, nor is, any need to fix this event. There is no error or problem that would require our attention or emergency maintenance. It was planned to release this clothing in recharge event.
While we understand it may be a bit disappointing to some players, it does not mean it is completely unavailable to free to play players. For its release week, this specific clothing is limited only to recharge (paying players) event but it doesn't mean it cannot appear in redeemable event in the future. We will take your feedback of this change into consideration for future releases.
What I, as a player, value in transparency is reasoning. I don't mind decisions that don't benefit me or make me mad – as long as they have a logical reasoning that I can understand and get behind.
There's just an explanation here. No "why". This isn't transparency. If there was transparency, people would've been calmed down.
As I stated before, just because it is in recharge event does not mean it can't appear in other events as redeemable item in the future.
Same here. No reason why. No concrete details, you just kind of have to "hope". That doesn't distill player fears at all.
In previous Sakura event, food sacks were supposed to cost 20 coupons/ingots from the begging. Due to error in system, system did not update the new price. For now, its price (20 ingots/coupons) should stay same.
This is at least a decent reason "why", but it does not address the problem. In the previous Sakura events, it cost 10. But they decided not to change their plans and allocate for this error in the system for some reason. Why can't they just change their plans? I don't know, because Daiske didn't explain it. That's not transparency.
Not to mention, here's another thing Daiske told me a while back regarding schedule releases.
I do not play FGO but I really doubt they release their whole schedule with all details. They might announce that some new changes, features or characters are coming in next few weeks. We sadly can't do that.
Again, no reason why not. Releasing details in advance actually helps a lot in hyping stuff up, but I guess... they can't do that for some reason?
Now I get that Oasis is inclined to keep a lot of its info to itself. They won't give out everything, no poo poo, dippoo poo. But the least they can do is share just a few more details with us so we feel like they actually care. I'm going to quote Dosu and the Dosu case again here as an example to show the kind of "transparency" we have. Somebody who wasn't Dosu suggested to add Dosu as playable, and every 9 or so months Dosu starts feeling like the suggestion is being ignored and posts some big thread about why Dosu should be added into the game as a reminder to the team. His last paper was about transparency, and how they should at least give updates for their CS suggestions to show that they're actually getting somewhere. And Tobei (I think?) provided a great and detailed answer, and said "yeah we have so many requests that it'd be impossible for us to check up on each and every one of them". After a year and a half of poor transparency, Dosu finally got what I would call genuine transparency. There's an understandable reason behind it, and that's fine. Since then it's gotten a little better, as mods have started openly acknowledging Dosu's other posts. But it isn't optimal. More explanations like Tobei's would be better.
Peace out, yo.

They used do monthly updates until they stopped due to people spamming which a certain update would be released in the month or people got scared that it would not show up. For example, July 2017 was the 1st anniversary and 3.0 update. Once the post came up, people wanted to know when exactly the events showed up. This might be the reason why they stopped releasing updates ahead of time since some people can't chill. To me, that was an attempt to be transparent but people demand more in which Oasis might not be able to in case something was delayed. Who knows perhaps the 3.0 update was suppose the happen in the 1st week of July but they had to move it to the 4th week.
They did those posts for like 3 months after Aristeaus and Utopia did what they did. No reason to repeat it again. Once people forgot about them, they simply stopped posting.
Same for the events: the moment the community started doing some math about what is worth and what is not, they stopped posting pictures of the events.
Also, let's not forget about the times where they removed "our only way to voice ourselves", after just 1 time when most people went against their schedule, voting against xserver events.
There are always people who can just complain every time and people who always ask for more, here like everywhere else, be it EN or BR or CN... but you can't just say that it's just their fault if there is no transparency.
Pretty sure people questioned why there there was no monthly update after July's but like you said with no more monthly updates, they most likely forgot and stopped asking for a reason. If that reason for the updates was to repair themselves after the Aristeaus event, pretty sure it would be needed when the forum got "upgraded" (people who were active on the forums that time would know what I mean).
The reason why I suggested the complainers to might have some play in why they chose not to do the monthly updates any more is because they way how Oasis released the updates. It was not detailed enough compared to how other companies give enough for their players to wonder and hype over. People wanted that standard but Oasis wasn't offering. If Oasis uses their standard of releases then they could argue they wanted to give their amount of hype they are willing to offer but the players complaining are ruining the hype by spamming when a certain event would come every week. Of course, we don't know the official reason why. We could go back and track if a mod gave an answer but that's too much work.
Yeah it was kind of pointless to offer that survey in the first place. Some people knew that sage in China was cross server and we were still under the impression that everything was a carbon copy from China. For me at least, if they did listen to our suggestions for sage, at least increase the merges since I was not able to do sage for a month.
