Getting 40 Edo Minato frags from great tree

I spent 19k to finish up my edo third and EGK, and I just barely reached the tier at which edo minato starts to drop. Even assuming a reasonable drop rate, probably at least another 10-12k to try to get 40 frags.

UPDATE:

Decided to go all in with the rest of my coups since I was already this far and the coin drops are good at least. I'm 172 pts into the first tier at which he drops, and only hit him twice. Now this might be bad RNG, but at least it's a data point for everybody wondering what the rates are like. He might drop more frequently at still higher tiers, but thats getting into the 30-40k range.


Edit: Never mind, he only drops in the one level. Not sure you could even get him to drop 40 times before you bumped up to the next level, though you never know.
