edo minato is the boosted version of jonin minato (is him but immune to debuffs), we directly got the version with the combo/atk boost passive in it, skipping the first chinese version that had not it.
remember there's a bond mystery between him and kurama naruto too.
he's not boosted. he's worse than JM.
the key best feature about JM is the fact that he has cd reduction and a hard hitting mystery. edo minato has neither. like yea, sure he scales, but if he doesnt do good damage in the first place, that scaling's not going to bring up his value. he's just not a good position 1 ninja, plain as day. and he's not a good support ninja either. where does he fit?
the KCM's bond mystery was introduced purely to make players in CN buy edo minato tbh. we dont have this bond mystery yet. and edo minato's own bond mystery (the one that requires 3 edo hokages) is considerably worse than JM's bond mystery.

ta. Just saying. Now that we dont have that yet his use will be rather limited, but so are most of recently released ninjas. Dont expect every new release to be some OP one punch man me
ta changer, believe me you wouldnt want this.
you say "supposed to be"
but there's rarely anyone running edo minato barrier in CN at all, even 3 months after his barrier was released. everyone's still running kakuzu breakthrough. you can see this from CN videos, or if u've ever visited a CN server. he's just not useful to them, plain and simple. (also kakuzu is just so much cheaper than grabbing all 4 edo hokages to set up a paltry barrier)
