Honestly i woulda done the smart thing and just let it deal with the consequences, not change midway, cuz you managed to do 2 things in 1 event, piss off people who spent 18k ingots/coupons for madara 5 kage, and by changing it midway, you managed to piss off the other half of spenders which is mid/low tier spenders, probably you got at least 90% of the community enraged against you(the team) which to my knowledge all i see is people angry about it, and i need to give them reason, you basically slapped yourselves in the face with this, i would be surprised if people still have faith in this team at all, i dont blame the game, i blame the team.

1) the price of food packs has always been 10cp, i've played this game since it launched day 1, i complained about this event since at 10 cp even with ranking rewards it wasnt worth spending on as a whale(290k power s2 Shadowblaze) originally, when the ranking rewards were changed it became worth spending on only if you could get first for the 1k points, not if you need to get 3k points to beat other whales.
2) daiske said that 20cp was supposed to be the price for packs, he meant for this instance of the event. if you compare the prices of ninjas this time and previous times, the ninjas this time are at lower point requirements for their value. by reducing the point values it makes the event better for f2p since you get the same amount of free points but can buy more frags for those free points, it does make the event worse for people who planned to buy the packs for the normal items tho since their prices remained the same.
So instead of the event being worth buying packs for adv refines while working toward first place, adv refines are worth more from the normal shop even accounting for the first place ranking rewards. It isn't a terrible thing since there are better events for getting stuff this week anyway, so long as you didn't just want that 5 kage summit madara.
tldr: they make an event more f2p friendly and people still complain. LOL
i dont disagree with you, but im more upset they changed midway. and the fact they took off also sakura / sasuke pack.

Then how do you expect Oasis to make amends? A lot of people have different answers to that question and only a little amount of those sounds reasonable. It is expected that not all people are going to like the compensation. I already see the drama going to be dragged either further due to this reason. If that happens, do you still think the community still has no part in the drama? Everybody by now knows what happen and should start begin to move on.
Also don't say "we are trying to make them pay the price" as it sounds like you are endorsing people to be voice their concerns in a rude manner when Oasis already knows people are angry with this mess. No progress will be made from it besides allowing people to vent.
yeah they know we are upset, but do they actually care, the answer is no, they just sweep this under the rug and move on, another week of events will follow and people will forget about this like always. and the funny thing is, people will keep recharging and spending like always.
