Leave the bug up for 24h so every active player can benefict from it and don't give compensations.. that would be the general opinion I think, I cannot stress enough how unfair this morning has been to some players, this bug, allowed players to have a humungus discount on cpns they spent, I mean 5 star sakura and 5 star sasuke, for around 600 coupns when it should cost around 15k.. 2 things come to mind, on one hand these are not game changing ninjas, so the effect on everyone having them dosent really change the top ranking positions, they are nice collectables tought and the power they provide directly on having them at 5 star is like 40 witch is insignificant.

So my opinion would be leave the bug up for 24h

its easyer and takes less time to programmers and the community, iff you just leave it there for 24h and then proceed normaly until the end of the event, than to collect thousands of complaitns and surely wont please everyone.
