Sadly the double element buff will break certain teams, like the newbie favourite GNW Tenten+Mabui+Mei.

So the fact 2nd standard heals more and that the elemental buff boost also mabui would break the team? Why should it do it?

Simple, because the Water buff would change to a Water+Lightning buff. The buff still only covers 3 units, and in the old TenTen+Mei+Mabui+Water team, the buff covers Mei, TenTen and Water. With the newly augmented version, you could end up with Mei or TenTen not getting the buff, thus greatly cutting down the teams damage output.
