Earth Style Petrifying Jutsu was 20% resistance before update and is 20% resistance after.
The only thing that changed was Steel Body.
Pre Update: Steel Body gave 100% resistance.
Post Update: Steel Body gives 100% defense
But yes, the main still stands; Earth is by far the weakest main in the game currently. -

Not to mention the pose of duel only working on 100% life ninja...
So yeah, gg every other cl@ss you won, nobody is going to use Earth now.
I'm still going to try and stay earth...even they specialize in nothing now.
Water main is so broken currently, Reverse Seal literally heals them back to 100% when you combo them. ._. -

Is it not salvageable in the current state?
Making a more aggressive team won't help? Could either make it earth centric or try to * enemy team out of the water in round 2 with pose of duel blanketed by the big team shield from the 3rd row maybe?
Dissappointing if that's not going to cut it.
There is no way to salvage it current. I've tried out numerous different teams and can't come up with anything.
Earth main has to be in the front position because his skills are super slow, yet with the nerf to shield and steel body - earth main is basically almost dead after turn 1.
Steel Body needs to give like 50% defense and resist instead of 100% of either. Almost all skills in the game are hybrid - including standards - and it just tears through earth main now that he has no resistance.
Which is ironic, because earth main is already plagued with having some of the lowest growth stats - his main stat is resistance yet it is his lowest growth. -
