1＃ Go ToLong story short: Midnight Blade pushed Scarlet Blaze into the water so he'd have a larger space to lounge XD
Happy mid-autumn festival guys!
Notes:
- this thing took me 2 weeks to plan and 5 days to execute because i'm such a giant noob at anime (it's just not my style haha) and also just cos this whole piece was so massive
- speaking of massive, i had like 500 layers, labelled and filed. from flat colour stage alone it'd take like 5 minutes to save. the original png version is 7MB of data and i had to downsize the jpg version like 3 times before i could get it to fit on forum -.-
- yup the clothes are strongly inspired/copied from the flower kimono costume in the CN version! i added stuff here and there (i think i've gotten the hang of that censoring via ribbons anime artists do hahahaha)
- wew i had to edit this in cos i forgot to say it the first time, but the idea for this piece came from one of those pixiv showcases with floating lanterns! there's so much good art there ;-;

oh thank f'uck hahahaha i redid the lighting like 5 times in 5 different styles before i settled on this one
im so relieved XD(the truth was i didnt have enough space for scarlet on the boat hahahahahaha)

That was sad
You made the same "mistake" as Kishimoto did, he killed / buried Hidan cuz he didn't have space for him at the GNW.
both of them fell victim to reverse plot armour oops

Although, I love that Red Lotus :PAnd whoooaaa 500 layers... gosh but surely effect is worth all the hard work! Great pic. Breeze looks totally awesome <3

i ran out of layers in the end ;-; while trying to do the effects of the lanterns in the sky. i didnt even know tool sai could run out of layers LOL
ahhhh thanks :3 yea i think the results isnt half bad for the time i spent on it haha. I'm so happy u like how breeze dancer looks! she's my favourite in this pic hehehe but i liked water main best in the draft stage

idk i just opened a new layer to separate colours, then more for the shadows and lighting and then the next thing i know im getting error messages from tool sai...oops hahahhaa

LOL don't worry about him hahahahaa he'll get up and dry himself with a fire jutsu, chase after the other mains and set Midight Blade's hair on fire. And then they'll have a'n all-out war on the peaceful ca'nal/lake and chase away all the civilians...oops XD

This is so cooooooool, i love it Kuebiko. *-* Poor Blaze... :(( i feel sad for him. I really love how you draw the sea and how Azure is looking in it! Blaze is really funny xD but i feel sad for him, poor smollie...
