Those are just rumors and besides, even if there is going to be a nerf, it's not going to happen for a long time. Hell, I got him a few weeks ago, and he is really useful, at least for me.

The only advice I can give you is choose the right route that will help you to improve in your endeavors.

The nerf will absolutely crush him and his usefulness, turning him into just another damage dealer like Sasuke or Kakashi. But he'll be squishy defensively and prone to getting autoed so he won't be in the front lines anymore starting your combos.

If you're just looking for the Fire-version of Random DPS Ninja X then you might keep him around. But if you like his revive and his front style gameplay, go with the ninja that isn't getting nerfed and remains one of the best Arena healers.

I'm not sure how likely a nerf for Tobi is but in the mean time if you really like him he's extremely useful.
Before any kind of nerf happens you'll probably be able to use him to get rewards in so many modes it'll be well worth the points you farm to get and upgrade him. Remember you also get 80 fragments from chapter 8 so only farm until you have 4 stars and 120 frags.

As for Kabuto he's very useful even in 2 and 3 stars. Unless you specifically need him to be stronger in some way you probably don't need too many stars on him.

can anyone tell me if tobi actually syncs well with Midnight blade with other ninjas for a good 8-10 combo and all? ;o

if so if u can please recommend me a good team with talents and summons and formation to use

Tobi for sure cuz he has big chance to evading some mystery.

Tobi is still my one of my fav as his dps plus chase is very useful. Dodge mystery once every round and revive once.. His normal attack has ignite too. Altho i don't use him anymore but in Ranking pvp, he takes the lead for my top team.

by the time you get tobi in shop, you will have reached 70 and get him in intance, no point in "wasting" tokens on someone you can get in intance, kabuto you can't get in instance. IMO!
