[ Lineup ] What am i doing wrong ?

My problem is - my team simply CANNOT start combos from autoattacks. Why ?

I'm an "old" player already, and the further i go, the more absurd things i stumble upon on.

Example, survival trial. I encounter 5 lvls lower enemies than me (I'm lvl 66), with +2 ninjas, with 2k pwr less, with 1k refine stats less...but my combo's simply won't start. It's completely annoying when i see enemy blue hinata cutting through my hinata mistery and starting a combo without problems, while my +3 fully geared ninjas hit only once.

I lie, i do start a combo. Once in 30 tries.

Another example is arena. I already made peace with myself that i need to build a tanky team to be able to absorb all those insane combos which i simply cannot start.

The latest example is the team :

Gakido Sasuke WindMain
x x Hinata
x x x
+ deer pet.

Simulator shows 10x combo (which is true, because i can do it on Kakashi clone) but in combat...pve or pvp...once in 50 tries.

Why ? What am i doing wrong? Any advices ?

Just dont put all your hopes on auto attack combo starters. Get atleast two mystery skills that can start long combos and you will be fine. Auto attack combo starters are just not reliable enoguh.

I Don't rely on those auto attack combo starters just set your combo to start from a mystery its much more reliable than just waiting for AA RNG to kick in and by the time it does 1 of your ninja's is already half hp.

Never relies on standart AA combo, but if you so want it, you c*e ninjas, which have guarantee/high
probability combo, such as Kankuro/Lee/Pain which buff combo for other pains.

Btw on Surv you can restart battle as much as you want untill achive what you want. On 11-12 floors its only one way.

I know, i'm completing surv 15/15 for 2 weeks now, but of course, with retreats. Arena also. I just want to know why are enemies making combos almost 100% of their attacks (my hinata vs enemy hinata for example), but mine are hitting only once like idiots.

I really can't find any sense in it.

refinement can boost your combo rate, that's not hard to understand though

How is it possible that, like example above, enemy hinata starts combo 100% of the time, while my hits only once ? How is it possible that even if that hinata misses the combo, the char after her has even 200% chance to start it, to compensate hinata's fail ?

I played 19 arena matches now. Combos started : 0. Enemy combos started, 100%. How ? Even if they cannot chain it, they hit 3 times like 800% of the time just to tell me that "if you hadn't killed that dude, we would continue my combo".

That cannot be just RNG. It's completely annoying.

Well, in the arena, the stats are the same. And you are just unlucky, that's all. The numbers may have been exaggerated like 0% and 100% or no combo initiated during 19 matches which evry match lasts approx 5 or 6 rounds. I know you wanted to make it sound more persuasive so it is fine, you were being frustrated . But it's still RNG in overall because there are people still do fine since RNG god is by their side.

I also have problem of refining: 7 times for a lv1 gear and 12 times for lv2 a gear. It's frustrating but we just have to deal with it. Like for example: it takes AT LEAST 100 draws to get Pain Tendo ( just an example, so don't go hard on me), some people may get it in the 100th draw. Some may take till the 150th draw.

P/s: In RNG-type games, unlucky players will complain because the bad luck leads to frustration --> RANTING . On contrary, the lucky won't. You can say that this game is not RNG because you were being really unlucky compare to others but make sure to remember, there are people may be in worse situations than yours.
