So, do %res/nin buffs affect shield/heals ? what I mean by this is for example the Minato/Hiruzen resistance buff to give higher shield gains from earth main or any healer to gain higher heals from ninjutsu buffs

I'll give you the answer right away and it's NO

It's a question I've been asked quite some times, just wanted to bring out a proof thread so I can confirm it for everyone.

The reason why they do not work is the fact that shield take only base resistance as a factor, same goes for heals as they take only base ninjutsu as a factor

Now it definitely would be fun if we could get more shields with resistance buffs etc, especially kinda disappointing for the Shiba dog summon mystery as it provides resistance buff % to your main character also.
