Stacking pos 1 is a pretty common and effective strategy.

But, For Susanoo Sasuke and Madara, they are immune to ninjutsu and taijutsu attacks respectively.

Does this mean you can just remove all resistance (Sasuke) and defense (Madara) magatamas from them entirely without suffering any side-effects? Since resistance mag reduce ninjutsu dmg and defense mags reduce taijutsu dmg, they seem redundent on Sasuke and Madara respectively.

No don't do that, madara and sasuke still can get damaged by nin+tai attacks.

Exactly as the person above me said , they are immune to PURE tai and PURE nin damage, but they still get damaged by tai/nin combination which a lot of ninjas have


Therefore those magatamas are still helpful
