  • All these people with "Ah, another saving week" are the same people that spend half or more of their coupons on "RNG" events (like this week's Wheel of Fortune - Masked man x80 frags) and then, when other, better events are announced, you complain on the forum "* man, I wish I didn't spend my coupons last week.. Now I only need 3 more frags for X item / Y ninja, PLS OASIS BRING BACK X or Y Item/Ninja!!"

    You guys disgust me.

As a player of MMO's for over a decade, from experience, I can tell you that you can't expect a company to bring in new stuff every single week. Give it time ffs, be patient. People been playing MMO's for years and the company that publishes said games take their time with whatever they publish, like new updates, items, characters, features etc.

Yes, some regions got 5.0 update, and by no means I try to defend Oasis, as everyone knows they like milking a character / feature as much as they can before they implement new things, I am well aware of that, but as a player, F2P or P2W, you have to be patient with a MMO. This game just hit its 2 years anniversary, give them time for crying out loud. Nobody forces you to play this game every single day, but if you want to keep up with the power rankings, you do have to spend at least an hour or so on the game to keep up with the rankings, it's how a game built like this is meant to function.

And it is players like YOU that disgust me. Jury is still out on Danzo unless this is his Sock Puppet account. And yes....you are clearly a sock pup....try venting on your main account if you are that brave.

For someone that advocates patience and claims that they are a longtime MMO player, people voicing their displeasure "disgusts" you? Some patience you have. I am betting that your prime example of MMO is a range from CoD to others such as LoL or Fortenite. Maybe give FFXI a try, or even FFXIV. Those are real MMOs.

Their complaints are NOT UNREASONABLE by any stretch of the imagination. They aren't unrealistic or in my view, considered whinny. Should they have learned by now the antics of Oasis? Perhaps.....but as the saying goes, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. If they never EVER complain, then things would probably get done at an even SLOWER pace than they are now.

Also, this "new stuff" that these so called disgusting people are wanting are features that have since been left in the dust. Stuff that was promised long ago that we should have had before we even considered 5.0.

And consider this....the last major redeem shop update and the shop update that gave us Konan was possible BECAUSE OF PEOPLE COMPLAINING.

As a company, they can look at complaints in 1 or 2 ways:

1) An insight to what the players want and which direction they should go in.

2) Feedback due to player cultivation.

A prime example of this is from the MMO FFXI which Oasis should take notes of. Throughout the history of that game, the community took a class (Ninja) which was meant to be a damage dealer nuker with ninjutsu spells. The playerbase devised a little ingenuity of game play and created a a TANK out of it due to it's spell that created shadows which would absorb damage. The players were the ones that cultivated the change.

What was the developer response when they saw that their original intent was altered by the playerbase? They EMBRACED IT COMPLETELY and from that point forward started updating based on player feedback. Oasis could learn a thing or two.

The absolute worst thing players can do for this game is listen to people like you....that try and discourage them from voicing their concerns or gripes about this game. You should be ashamed of yourself for that.

Usually the people who lack experience in playing MMOs would be acting like this. They need also remember that this game is based on an anime that has already finished so there is a expiry date. Too fast of releases is dangerous for f2p gameplay and too slow drives p2ws being bored and quit. Our server is nowhere that slow and if some think otherwise, they need to be patient.

Some also should know this type of week is expected since it is part of the event cycle.

Calling this flash game an MMO is really reaching though. While yes, multiple people are on this game at the same time, its hardly MMO classic. People finish dailies in about 40 minutes. The timed daily events are repetitive and monotonous....and also done in a matter of minutes. Also, most people do these not because they look forward to them or because they want to....but from FEAR OF FALLING BEHIND in progress with others. I wouldn't call this stellar (or true) MMO game play if the motivating factor is that.

Also, as I have mentioned before, people asking for content that we should have had already (or was promised us) is not unreasonable. Complaints are just one of the many factors that can light a fire under a companies arse.

Another thing, this is literally a flash game where people are standing around for most of the day or are afk 80% of the time. Do you really think that if everything that we should have had by now suddenly got released tomorrow....would that really change/kill the game as you think it would? I don't think so in the slightest. The p2w will stay because of the money/time they invested and the f2p that are * will stay even more due to the factor that I mentioned above.....they are afraid to fall behind and lose progress.

  • +1 to Danzo.

I do agree, game is going to fast. No way some f2p, who they claimed to be, constantly had enough coupons to get whatever they wanted everytime something was out. The timeframe is too narrow to earn that much coupons as f2p.

I get monthly card and enough to plunder 3x daily per month, thus I don't even have enough to get something I need when something is out. I still needed at least 2-3 months to actually spend large lump sump under fukuromaru's deal.

Whoa there Oasis Cheerleader.....

Many of you who hang on the sack of Oasis keep chanting the, "Things are coming out way too fast" keep forgetting one fact.....the only thing that is actually getting pushed out Read RUSHED OUT at a rapid pace are the items/ninja that COST MONEY!!

How do you overlook this? Are you just turning a blind eye to this?? Or are you really this naive? The fact that this is being done, Oasis can be the one to shoulder the reason that the P2W players are leaping ahead in power and ninjas......and you seriously think that we are going too fast on ACTUAL CONTENT that would greatly benefit F2P players? You can't have it both ways bro.

I think you are a little shortsighted when it comes to addressing this issue. You constantly complain about the people that complain, then on the same had, you praise and kiss the behind of Oasis for doing the things that you say are the problem with this game.

Also, as I have said previously, players asking for content that SHOULD HAVE BEEN OUT ALREADY (not talking about 5.0 or other nonsense) is completely justified. There is no excuse to not release these features when they should have been released already....AND when they are rushing out the money makers.

Lastly....I honestly don't understand why people like you get all bent out of shape when players declare, "Well, this is a saving week for me..." It is just their small way of saying that there is not much to offer in the way of free players, so they will save. I would continue, but I'm certain you will just find a backwards way to justify it.

  • @Mad_King : I understood now why you chose this name.

First, you really need to stop assuming things that ain't. I am not Oasis Cheerleader. Their management is quite poor and I never liked it.

"...and you seriously think that we are going too fast on ACTUAL CONTENT that would greatly benefit F2P players? You can't have it both ways bro." If you can't see the contracdiction here in your own statement. The one who is blind, is probably you.

Second, I never said anything about addressing issues. I only agreed that game has gone too fast. I guess you're blind, again?

3rd, so far in this thread, not a single word I have complained about other's comments. Another blind?

4th, I never actually praised and kiss Oasis. You can go through all my threads and comments and find those for me.

5th, "AND when they are rushing out the money makers." See the point why game has gone too fast? Now go back to first thing that I quote.

6th, Never once said "it's a saving week for me." I always saved and spent on what I needed.

    ---

P.s. You can get mad all you need to keep up with your name. Peace ^_^\/

LOL the funny part is that you actually think you are witty or smart. You are neither, I assure you. All the evidence I need is from your previous posts....which I can easily search when I click on you. You never EVER really criticize Oasis on any point, which is why I HINTED at you being their good little cheerleader in the first place.

Good job quoting the bit on my post to you that conveniently is taken out of context......stellar way to win an argument....just change it! I'll repeat since you are clearly incapable of succinct comprehension: You said that this game is pushing content out too fast......and I pointed out that the only content that is getting rushed out are features that cost money, such as Angel Konan, Shisui, etc. As a direct result of this, the PAYING players are leaping ahead...as they always will. While on the flip side (still with me Bro?) features that would benefit everyone at the same time (especially Free players) are shop updates, ultimate training, they drag their feet. Heck, even when they finally DO add a new feature, they purposefully don't add the remainder of the features (such as shop updates that would allow people to redeem for bells) that should go along with it so people can advance.....so they would have to pay. Guess who is going to leap ahead and create a gap? Or is critical thinking not your strong suit?

My point is that people complaining about FEATURE UPDATES are right to do so. People like you that whine that they are complaining , and try to suppress them with attitude doesn't help the game advancement either.....as a matter of fact, it actually does more damage because you are attacking the players (read: discouraging). Savvy?

Funny how the spenders ask for ninjas, and F2P would lean towards features.....but Oasis only listens to one half of them.

While you haven't directly complained in this thread, you jump on the bandwagon of people who have. That is just the same difference. But you HAVE complained on numerous threads about people....its all there in your little history. Don't try and claim that you are squeaky clean, because you aren't. Nice try though.....

I never claimed you said "its a saving week for me" how thick are you really? But I distinctly remember you losing your cool a few months back when people were complaining about a pure P2W week....when free players would complain and then declare, "...another saving week for me...."

Something tells me you really can't grasp the entirety of this conversation and the parts that you somewhat understand, you change to try and win "some argument" This isn't an argument that can be won....its just facts that are present and I point them out. Don't like it? I suggest you change your attitude because your current one is a hindrance to the community.

You still don't see it that game is going to fast?

If they slow it down. You would get FEATURE UPDATES. That's the point. But whatever you seemed to overlook it.

No matter what people said you're not going to listen and THINK THROUGH anyway.

    That's ok. #Byefelicia.

My GOD man, how thick can one be? I shouldn't even bother at this point.....you clearly are having trouble staying on track. I'll try and simplify it for you:

When you consider the GAME FEATURES (shops, 3.0 content, 4.0 content, books, breakthroughs, etc, etc, etc) that are essentially MISSING, we are way way WAY behind.

ANYTHING that requires MONEY to advance play (such as Shisui got pushed MONTHS early, Deidara got pushed MONTHS early, Ability scrolls with no way to gain for free, Myoboku scroll/oils, bells, etc) we are far far FAR ahead.....so that kind of shows you where we are at.

People argue, (like you) that we need to slow down because speeding up will kill the game.....no...it won't. Just look at this week as a prime example. Absolutely nothing to do unless you are spending money on this game. Balloons, activity bag? Done with dailies. Sakura Event? One and done per day...but psst.....its a spendy event beneath the surface. Everything ELSE? SPEND PLAY SPEND PLAY SPEND PLAY .

No one is suggesting what you are impling when the F2Ps are asking for features: "We want to be China right here and now!!"

In case you can't see it now, this decision to keep fast releasing pay content while holding free feature content back is what's creating the gap between F2P and spenders. I already see people with Minato bond mystery now. Guess which class those players are? And you REALLY think that releasing all content that we SHOULD HAVE NOW will kill the game? Bro.....just stop....before you embarrass yourself....nvm too late.

I'm not saying bring 5.0 here and now....but how about finishing up 3.0 AND 4.0 now before bringing 5.0? Who do you think would benefit? Here is a hint.......everyone. Lastly...no one is saying release the "Kraken" all at once.....tiding up once a week to catch up would be sufficient. There really is no argument against it at this point. Aside from technical issues and local decisions, everything else is just a road trip to Excuse City.
