Yes we are talking about normal Hiruzen here, not Edo

So generally he is a very outdated ninja, but still has good use honestly and I'll explain a bit later, but let's first talk about the skills

Mystery: so literally nothing special , just normal damage mystery

Standard Attack: Same

Passive 1: this is not bad , can be useful for extra protection especially if you are using him as a support ninja (which is currently his best use)

Passive 2: Same, very useful for a support ninja, it's a pretty good buff

Passive 3: This is his best feature currently, this skill is insanely useful in Space Time for example, I will explain on teams

Overall he is a good support ninja, I wouldn't recommend to use him as a pos1 although I will list 1 old school team with him being pos1 as it can be still good for newer players.

So I will just list 3 types of different teams and you can improvise to use him with a lot of different ninjas especially in the 2nd type of teams.

1. Old School pos1 damage Hiruzen team

So this team is very outdated as I said, I wouldn't recommend using this unless you are on a newer server, although the team can still be amazing if executed well.

It was considered to be the "immortal troll" team back in the days with Danzo being able to revive Hiruzen even after using the suicide mystery.

Generally it has debuff clear mystery, immobile chase, good damage and clone protections.

2. The vs stronger enemy teams (Space Time)

Ok I know I used a pretty expensive ninja as an example but it's just an example, any good position 1 can work (God Angel Konan, Kurama Naruto, Roshi etc etc) but of course you should replace the bee in other teams also

So why is this amazing vs stronger enemies in space time? your Hiruzen being pos2-3 will most likely die easily and as you know he does insane damage with his "Reaper Death" mystery after death, if you are able to eliminate your enemy pos1 ninja thru this you could pretty much guarantee your win as long as your pos1 ninja is still alive.

Next to that he will help you a bit with tankiness thru his resistance buff

Now of course there are counters such as dodge ninjas etc but it's a good idea to have in mind if you have Hiruzen.

3. Bond Arena / GNW pure support team

This is an example of such a team

Now as the title says this team is a pure support team, especially amazing in bond arena if you are lower power and you have a higher power server mate who will do all the damage for you. (For example him running Edo Hiruzen)

This team pretty much has no combo except the wind main 10 hit chases for the chakra generating and ninjas serving as a meat shield.

You can help by removing shields/buffs, giving him 2x additional standard attack and more shields/buffs , if your Hiruzen dies you could also help a lot with damage.
