You don't necessarily need a healer, but Neji isn't that reliable as a front line tank. You have good DPS and control aspects, but you'll be vulnerable to a tanky debuff team for sure. This team is good for fights you know you can win, and want to win quickly, but if your opponent has, for example, a Water main with Hinata and Kiba, you'd be dead pretty quick to poison stacks and just general outlasting.

Healing is very important to remove all debuff but it doesnt matter if u think u are faster than the enemy.

so what you prefer? to get some better tenk or maby to try with clones like Sai for example

Well this team is quite an offensive team, you have to quickly knock down the enemy's team or you will lose when the battle lasts

Well I play as an Earth main so you know the Guy Neji Earth and maybe a healer like Kabuto , or maybe Kurenai. Well, for lightning team, if not using any supports/ healers then you should quickly shutdown the opponents team. If you want for more info, search the thread named: Lightning main too strong and read posts of Kyutaru's *ysis about how to conquer a lightning team, then use it for your team development.

I always suggest healers because of the debuff clearing and general awesomeness, but if you were a fire main with Death Mirage + a leech like Gai...

Since you're lightning you're able to leech, which means the only issue is poison, etc. I agree with Overmain - put your best-attack/attack-triggers-combo ninja in first place, up your initiative through refinement... it makes you faster, which is awesome in ranked.

If you were to use a healer, I'd find someone "multi-purpose" (I made that up ^_^) like Kabuto (clones), Karin (poison), Kurenai, (shield) since all of them do more than one thing and, depending on talents, combo well too. If not, maybe... Kiba GNW (who self-heals and heals his "clone" Akamaru, but he's not actually technically a medic in my eyes), a leecher like yourself, Gai, or Lee; a reviver like Chiyo and probably one of the Pains, a debuff clearer like the fire main, Hanzo if we ever get him... yup.

Depends on your tactics - if you feel like you don't have room for a healer - say, Kabuto heals, combos, clones but doesn't set anyone on fire or whatever - leeches are really good. If your goal is staying alive long enough to get a huge one-shot kill in, Lee/Gai is a good pair to have because they both leech along with your main, so you have backup. Plus Lee's move costs no chakra, which allows for other moves, and Gai's move interrupts, which is part of the "staying alive" thing.

If you want another interrupter (I think lightning main interrupts too, but don't know if you have to give up leech for that), Neji would be good. Problem with Neji/Lee/Gai is that there aren't any clones/shields (Neji's rotation catches some tai but not all) so that'd be a pretty major weak link. Same with Tenten - all of the teams I've fought that had her have had killer combos, but again she doesn't clone/shield. As for the next member, maybe experiment a bit agains Kakashi's clones; pay attention in Ranked Battle to who's causing the most damage/who's going down the fastest, etc.

I tried doing a full damage team with Asuma and it just got destroyed with by CC and healers. Went back to the drawing board and decided to use this team with main on refinements +3.

Adding that bit of extra balance with Kurenai has to be the best decision i've made and it's currently my strongest line up.

thats a rly nice tactic with good combos but, how it going vs Scarlet Blaze's plus if they have ignite combos and 2+ ninjas with AOE fire? hmm rly hard vs them

hmmm its so OP and in other hand have some def moves, Neji can interupt ninjutsu Gai can interupt ninjutsu but the problem is AOE atacks i think they will have slow heal proces after AOE punch

It's actually really strong against fire mains as long as you have high initiative on your main. On the first round I usually put up Hinatas barrier and just do the standard attacks and hope I get a combo off or just weaken his clone (cause fire mains use clones 90& of the time). On the second round I use the AOE paralyze on the highest priority target (usually the fire main himself) and since I have Kurenai it will deflect the debuff back at them and break their genjutsu mirror. The attack usually inflicts Paralyze, acupunture, and ignite which is great when they are using every non sakura healer because the acupuncture stays and the healers usually only heal the paralyze debuff. Depending on what they do that round and how it turned out I usually have eanough chakra to summon sasukes realm thanks to kurenais chakra recovery or if I killed a weaken fire clone with the AOE I get a reset on my mystery with Warriors Killing Intent. Worst case scenario you summon sasukes realm 3rd turn and use Kurenais mystery as well :/. From the 2nd turn on out use your judgment and decide whom to target. They do end up getting Tobi who is blatantly freaking annoying and over powered IMO, but he is really squishy and they end up hiding him behind clones so your mystery ends up resetting because of those clones anyways.
