Does the main have mystery have priority?

In arena while doing battle, i pressed my J. Minato(pos 1) mystery after my opponent's wind main(pos 3) had pressed the Dance of Impetus reset.


Yet the reset happened before I could interrupt.


So I wanted to know if the mains have mystery priority or why this happened?
