Hey guys!

So I've been asked to talk about Ranked Battle a bit, specifically making teams

Screenshot_3 (2)

So essentially there are 2 general kind of teams to consider using:

- The cross-buff lineup

- The anti buff lineup

There are also some mixes but let's talk about these 2

So I will just talk about general ideas and some tips, it's up to you guys to make use of your current ninjas and make a decent team, but I would say this feature is not as important as some others so do not worry yourself much about it generally

Also keep in mind this part of the feature when making a team, it's in the middle team below mystery icons, to organize your equipment

The cross-buff lineup

General:

The cross-buff is something you would consider using if you are faster than your enemy and can nuke him or interrupt etc is especially good.

You could consider using ninjas such as hashirama, edo sasori, killer bee , it could also bump your shields very high.

Position 1:

For position 1 ninjas you would want some good AoE nukers or interrupt such as God Angel Konan, Edo Deidara, Hokage Minato, Edo Hashirama, Roshi, Madara etc

You could also attempt a more Round 1 oriented nuke Ranked Battle team with using for example Edo Hiruzen pos1 with other teams buffing him and then having other teams such ninjas as Kushimaru or Susano Itachi or Lightning Main to clean-up the other enemies if you are strong enough.

Support:

Keep in mind also what passives and mysteries you could use with your Main Character, some mains have cross-team buffs also and they might be more useful in some situations.

You could also consider using some other support/buffing ninjas for each team so you can have even higher damage.

Having a ninja such as Hanzo, Hokage Tsunade on position 4 also can help you a lot with clearing debuffs from everyone at the end of round.

Also generally when making teams beware who is in what position and keep in mind the chakra gains and chakra uses (For example if your position 1 ninja uses 20 chakra but your position 2 in the same team uses 40 chakra then that position 2 mystery will be prioritized in most cases)

The Anti-buff lineups

General:

Anti buff using a ninja such as Han can really help you a lot if you are a slower than your enemy

With also using a bit more healers because your enemy will do much less damage to you when you remove the buffs.

Having 1 revive ninja could also help a lot , Jigokudo is a good example and he works great in a team together with Edo Deidara for example also.

Position 1:

In these type of teams you could also use same pos1 ninjas because most of them are good even without buffs (Edo Deidara, God Angel Konan, Roshi, Hokage Minato are best examples I can think of currently)

Support:

In these type of teams you could also take advantage of the buff removal fact to keep some buffs for yourself such as using Breakthrough Hashirama, Barriers, Madara/God Angel Konan buff etc

Keep in mind that some cross-team buffs such as Lightning Main anbu tactic and Fire Main ninjutsu urge are also un-removable buffs and can help a lot.

Hopefully this helped some of you guys!

  • Any hopes for a thread on basic and slightly advanced teams for Ranked Battles? By that I mean teams that do not use your Main Character, this seems to be where people struggle most.

I see, not a bad idea, will see if I can cover that kind of topic sometime

Hmmm, I never looked into that much

But based on that it is highly likely that 100% of stats from overall power features (such as Battle Armor, Myobokus, Summon Cultivation, Clothings) go to other teams

So I'd say it's those power features that the person might be better than you
