this is a two part thing,

first poison tai gets applied to people who dodge the damage.

second if your immune to debuffs, and the debuff has a secondary effect of interrupting it shouldn't interrupt because your immune to the debuff

Both of these fall into this, If A applies B, and you avoid/are immune to A, B shouldnt happen.
