Hi Guys, recently got this team below.

Was wondering who i should max my gears on? 4th Ay has 65% Atk mood while 3rd Ay 29%.

Any advice would be great, thanks.

Always max gears on your main damage dealer, in this case kinda a tough choice yes but better 3rd Raikage so you can be faster in round 2 vs your enemies

Do not use that team. Since you own ay 4th means is sure you own also darui. Use darui ay 3rd samui with earth main or use darui ay 4th samui with lightning main.

If you want to keep going on with the subpar version you run now then is mandatory that you boost to max ay 4th otherwise you have no hopes to nuke anything in round 1. Round 2 ay 3rd gets the boost from chakra that is more than enough.

Different strokes for different folks. That team above has a lot more staying power than the Darui blitz team, so sure, turn 1 it might not destroy a ninja, but Any 4th is going to ruin someone’s day enough that you’ll likely destroy them turn 2 with Ay 3rd.


I would change one thing though, and that’s move Sami to move 2, it’s more likely you will be able to use her to interrupt that way. Simply move both her and Ay 3rd forwards 1 square so she is standing in 2nd move above Ay 4th Move 3.


(I’ve run the above with Wind Main in Matsuri a few times and it’s surprisingly devastating and hard to shift for those teams reliant on chase CC to keep you interrupted. It’s a bit weak against Masked Man / Susano’o Itachi though as they can just chaos Ay 4th before he can pop his mystery and in the case of Masked Man, can’t interrupt with Samui . With Earth Main shields and the shield atk buff it’s even harder to shift. Only advantage with Wind Main is extra shields and immune to debuffs for Samui, followed by Dance of Impetus to pop all three mysteries again on round 2 and repeat Ay 3rd round 3. And yes, if you don’t need to interrupt someone round 1 with Samui, use her to ‘laser target designate’ a ninja for Ay 4th to destroy by tagging them.

the whole point of darui is the fact that boosts more or ay 3rd or ay 4th, depending on what you run.

the team the op proposes is basically free food for any shark bomb chaos spreading teams and for heavy poison tai teams since it has 0 hopes to nuke a comparable power water main hp mooded in round 1 if ay 4th isn't full buffed. it is also free food for any chakra stealing teams based on kisame samehada (that if is faster may also interrupt ay 4th since is move 2).


the wind version you talk about, instead, is free food for kushina habanaro teams. paralysis + wind main constantly immobile until it dies is what it fears the most.
