1 chase combo every round ??

I just found out that every time I do combo it only happen once per round. If I want one of my ninja to use skill I have to put him at the front so that I have a long combo but I cannot have chase combo anymore for my rear ninjas. Is this happening to you guys also?

I tried Team 7. Sakura 1st, Naruto 2nd, Sasuke 3rd and last is the main (midnight blade). I change Sakura to Hinata but its still the same.
