Hey guys!

I wanted to share some info and testing to you guys and also to better explain how his passive works.

Screenshot_8

Buff:

First off his buff is the first buff to come into game that's exact same as Main Characters one, 40% for 5 rounds.

It's very versatile with the fact that he can buff 9 units which means it can be used also in GNW /bond arena and it will buff up your team mates, and especially the fact that he buffs EVERYONE.

The buff DOESN'T STACK with:

-Main Character enhancement buffs

-Wind Dance, Warrior Killing Intent

-Basically any buff that has atk/nin in description and is 40% for 5 rounds.

Therefore if you want to fully buff Edo Hiruzen you must use Earth Main with his shields buff.

Anbu Tactic, Ninjutsu Urge, Guidance also work but they are not as good buffs.

5 Element Passive:

What this part of the passive means is that Edo Hiruzen is considered to be a full 5 element ninja which means:

-You can buff him with ANY element barrier (e.g. Darui, Gaara)

-You can shield him with ANY element type of shield (e.g. Mabui, Toroi)

-You can give him an additonal attack with Pakura

Comparing damage between Danzo and Darui barriers:

Thanks to Rezi for helping with the test

Darui Barrier:

Non-crit = 11 -12k

Crit = 21-22k

Danzo barrier:

Non-crit = 11-12k

Crit = 21-22k

Screenshot_11

As you can see there is 0 damage difference between the Darui and Danzo barrier even though Darui barrier isn't supposed to buff him , but it does thanks to the passive.

Only the Danzo barrier screenshot he was luckier with criticals

Mabui Shield:

As you can see even though Mabui passive says "shields Lightning and Water units" she will shield Edo Hiruzen also thanks to his passive.

Hope it helped and cleared some misunderstandings, have a nice day guys!

  • His buff does stack with Red Lotus Secret. It doesn't stack with Warrior's Killing Intent. Tested this on Kakashi Clones, my FM did 3.8-4.2k without Red Lotus and 5.3-5.8k with Red Lotus.

EDIT: Probably it doesn't work with 5 round buffs, but works fine with 3 round ones.

Ah I am sorry , I kept thinking about the fact that it doesn't buff him

But yes it does stack with Red Lotus Secret, will edit that now

  • What about Hashi and Hashi +1?

Hashi and Hashi+1 both stack, it's an amazing idea for full buff gnw/bond arena Edo Hiruzen

  • Warriors might need some testing, cause i know it will not help edo hiruzen since hes not a sword user, but unsure of if same applies to say lightning main in this setup.

Yeah it won't help Edo Hiruzen, but for example if you are using LM-Shisui-Edo Hiruzen, Shisui won't get the bonus damage from warrior killing intent if you use it

  • Are you sure about Wind Dance? I have seen hiruzen used quite a bit with that talent and it's quite strange that so many people in CN (even higher spenders) couldn't realize that the buff isn't working.

Yes I am sure since both have 40% nin for 5 rounds in the buff description, I don't want to bother anymore people to take screenshots for me, but I already had few people saying that they didn't notice any higher damage with using Wind Dance
