Honestly speaking, after a brief thinking about it, i think the modification of the 5k option was not a good idea with this trade ratio.
They should modify only 100 and 500 options to work as the 100 do now to induce low spenders in spending not only on platinum recharge week.
The 5k option as is now is too good for heavy spenders and will induce a lot of your usual 100-200$ per month cashers in not spending more than 100 per month because they get with 100$ what they used to get with 250.
That's why, imho, the rebate for the 5k should be lowered to just a +30-40% while the rebate for the 100 is right that stays as is now and the one for 500 should be something like a a 3x payback (so you spend 500 and you get back 1500 coupons).
What are you talking about? ALL the events are like that. the events in this game are heavily biased towards heavy spenders. just look at this weeks recharge events not only do you get a FREE edo Hiruzen but you can then spend the 30k ingots on the sakura gift event and then claim the cat rebate thing. that's 4 birds with 1 stone.
