The greed on this week is just disgusting. 25k for 30 frags. Hopefully other 40 are not RNG on the wheel, because that amount of crying and hellfire that will arise when someone spends 25k in and does not finish him will be legendary. The only saving factor for these events would be if Hiruzen was also in Sakura's event, but I highly doubt it.
I am curious how Oasis can justify such a price increase over the German and Chinese server counterparts. I am sure we will hear all about how "USD rates exchange at different values to ingots" but the fact is we are talking about coupons, a fake currency the game hands out at the same rates (even higher in other versions), so while ingot values in actual money might be different, the ba
Just do like me and do not buy edo hiruzen now. This event is extremely good if you planned to recharge 30k ingots and to spend a 5-10k of them and is as much as good if you planned to recharge 500-2000 ingots and spend 100-800 of them. Is not good only if you care only about getting a full edo hiruzen asap, but is not even that bad considering you actually buy it for 12-15k ingots, it's just that goes together with other things.
What about all those players who were saving coupons for this event? I have group mates that had saved 20k coupons, as f2p players in prep for Edo Hiruzen over the past 6 months. It completely shafts them adding in the 30k recharge event. You say Hiruzen is only 12-15k, but that is pure ingots at that point, coupons become worthless. Gemany had him in Lucky Wheel, as a REDEEMABLE ninja for that 12-15k, which could be gotten completely with coupons. I understand this is week 1 of his release, and Oasis feels the need to make some money, but hopefully they pull the * out of their *s in the following weeks and put out a Lucky Wheel with Edo Hiruzen as a redeemable option for that 12-15k price tag. As for this week, massive disappointment on all fronts.
I know right? Hey, did you know Witcher 3 GOTY version is on steam for $20? Comes with all the DLC too, and only $580 cheaper than Hiruzen. Hard decisions this week
good move, I am doing the same. So many good games previewed at E3 this year, all of which are a better use of all that money. Sadly I already ran across one poor fool who bought a Hiruzen in arena, and he dissolved like wet toilet paper. I know arena is not always the best judge for a ninja's viability, but without % tactics he might be in a really bad spot, which makes charging 30k for him even more funny. Possible $600 dust collector
as a note to the Mods and any Devs that might happen to see the forums, the lack of complaining as the week went on about these horrid events is not to be taken as a sign that we ended up being content with them. Rather, the lack of activity and discussion after the initial burst of posts is more an representation of people giving up hope for this game, and Oasis as a company. This week was one of the worst in terms of events we have seen in a long time. Not only was there a lack of events for F2P players, but nothing worth spending ingots on for the P2P players as well. The decisions going into events, this week especially, are downright confusing. There seems to have been little to no thought besides "give us money", as there is no reason to even spend what might have been recharged. We are all sorely disappointed with Oasis for this past week. You need to do better and not take our silence as contentment, but rather apathy.
