Yes, what kuro said above is true .. Look at the image below for reference .. (i have 7 types of Clothing, and all stats of the clothing adds to me)

    But yes, the reason why players get more than one clothing is because the stats stack. The stats for clothing also serves as a bonus for all ninjas in your lineup, so it becomes very valuable and rewarding to recruit. Not to mention the look is great XD
